Meet Tricia “Trish” Hocking, high school superstar–turned-unremarkable twenty-something college dropout, who now spends her life slinging coffee for the generally-appreciative masses.  She enjoys tea, hot baths, 1980’s Irish punk music and well-arranged biscotti, and that’s about all there is to say about her until the day an honest-to-god superhero kicks in her coffeehouse door.  Now torn from her comfy existence into a shadowy world of ancient demigods, disgusting inhuman horrors, and gothy-looking girls with diastrophic dwarfism skilled in vegetable-themed martial arts (actually just the one), will our nascent Crusader for Justice survive the week?  Will she uncover the terrible secret of the skeevy bastard who stole her favorite little belt-pack?  And will she finally purchase a cell phone of her very own?  Because she’s, like, totally been putting that off.  My long-running Internet serial story, posted on LiveJournal from 2005–2011. Written entirely in character-voice, questionable grammar and all.
